Regeringer vil forbyde SM på internettet

Både den engelske og den amerikanske stat arbejder i øjeblikket på at kriminalisere billeder af SM og erotisk dominans på internettet. Det kan være alt fra kunstfotos til klubber til dominaer ... verden bliver mindre, og er igang med en særdeles uhyggelig udvikling!
Man vil ulovliggøre seksuelle fantasier og lyster, droppe individets rettigheder - i en nypuritansk bølge som langsomt breder sig til at stigmatisere flere og flere former for alternativ seksualitet.
Er de samme trends ikke igang lige nu herhjemme?
I England arbejder regeringen på at kriminalisere SM-billeder:
The British Government, according to BBC reports and the Home Office, announced on August 30, 2005 a plan to introduce a consultative process with a view to banning the downloading of images from web sites -- here and overseas which include images of sexual violence regardless of whether it is consensual.

I Amerika skal S/M fjernes fra internettet, synes Justitsministeren
October 20, 2005 - Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has announced that his office will specifically target "bestiality, urination, defecation, as well as sadistic and masochistic behavior" in pursuing new obscenity prosecutions. The Department of Justice began recruiting in late July for a new anti-obscenity squad to pursue obscenity prosecutions, and the FBI announced in September that it was forming an anti-obscenity task force to crack down on pornography.
Any website that has content containing "bestiality, urination, defecation, as well as sadistic and masochistic behavior" should be forewarned that prosecution is possible. Additionally, Federal sentencing guidelines state that any obscenity- related punishment should be "enhanced for sadomasochistic material."
The Department of Justice is clearly hoping that websites will self-censor or remove their content entirely. Midori, a fetish model and SM educator who teaches classes on bondage, has removed her website, BeautyBound.com, citing fear of obscenity prosecution.
